Who can attend TYSIC?

TYSIC is designed for high school students across Ontario and beyond who are curious about science, technology, engineering, and math. No prior experience required. Whether you're set on a STEM path or just exploring, you're welcome.

When and where is TYSIC 2026?

TYSIC 2026 takes place on October 16, 2026 at Branksome Hall in Toronto. Doors, session times, and the full agenda will be available on the EventBrite page.

How do I register?

Registration is handled through Eventbrite - use the “Register” button anywhere on this site to secure your spot. Spaces are limited, so we recommend registering early.

What is the Innovation Challenge?

It's a hands-on competition where students tackle a real-world STEM problem in teams and pitch their solution to a panel of judges. You can take part on the day of the conference or in the pre-day challenge - see the Innovation Challenge page for details.

What should I bring?

Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and something to take notes with. For the day-of innovation challenge, a laptop or tablet can be handy for building your pitch. For the pre-day challenge, bring whatever you need to present your solution (poster, prototype, slides, etc.).

How can my school, club, or company get involved?
